i’ve always been intrigued by beyonce. a lot of that is probably because she manages to keep pretty private (and perhaps because we’re birthday twins).
i finally got around to watching the HBO documentary special about her life, Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream, and i really enjoyed it. in a world full of fabricated, train wreck celebrities, i found her to be incredibly refreshing. she’s natural, real, insightful and i think a few things she said will stick with me. if you’ve got 1.5 hours to kill this weekend, it’s worth a watch and available via HBO HD On Demand.
