We’re fulfilling a dream & going to explore the world!
We. Are. So. Excited. You know those reoccurring conversations that happen after a few cocktails? When you get all brave and make big declarations about your life? Well forever, our cocktail conversation has always gone back to traveling. More than a vacation, but really falling off the grid, taking a break from it all and exploring the world. And then, you wake up in the morning less brave and focus on all the reasons it would be tough to go.
There always has been – and always will be – a reason to not go… career opportunities, owning homes, savings accounts, missing out on family and friends life events, holidays, the fear of the unknown… But as we looked ahead at 2014, it felt like the timing was now or never. We knew we had to commit to a date and charge forward. So one night over a six pack of beer, we promised to do it.
On New Year’s Eve 2013, we’ll strap on our backpacks and leave the United States.
On New Year’s Day 2014, we will land in Bangkok, Thailand where we’ll start our big adventure.
