as danny scratched my back and i slowly peeled off my sleep mask this morning, i turned to see i had a text message from my boss: “go ahead and work from home today if you want…” and that, my friends, is a fantastic way to start off a friday.
danny and i have been running like crazy lately with barely a minute to breathe, so this is more than just a treat. i needed this. a leisurely cup of coffee on my couch, not racing to get out of my sweatpants, a candle and a day without rush hour traffic. i feel more relaxed already.
