Chatuchak Weekend Market is the largest market in Thailand and the world’s largest weekend market. It covers more than 35 acres and contains 15,000 vendor stalls. We joined 200,000+ people on Saturday afternoon to check out the goods. There were deals to be had and food to be eaten everywhere. It was pretty nuts so we just wandered, but didn’t buy (except for edible things).
{see ting checking out the shirts with the cool thai kids?}
{i wanted to bring the entire rack home. stupid backpack. colbs – we were talking that you can open your boutique and we’ll just fly over here and buy these amazing vintage dresses for like $5 and then resale them at home. amazing amazing stuff.
the view from the bridge as we left the market to get back on the BTS train. cabs, buses & people everywhere.
