on this trip, we find ourselves watching a lot of things we’d typically miss — a spider weaving his web, schools of fish moving with the tide or determining what prompts crabs to scurry across the sand. life’s little things we typically “don’t have time for.”
and when you do have the time, you find yourself getting creative. while I was reading on Koh Jum, danny wandered our private beach in search of shells with holes in them. then, he went on a search for string and came across a tangled fishing net. after untangling it, he scored a knife laying in a nearby fishing canoe which allowed him to cut it to just the right size for a necklace (him) and anklet (me). boom, jewelry making set.
