suns out, buns out.

That was pretty much our mantra for our time at the pool villa. Our Uluwatu reservation was originally longer, but when it got messed up, Danny decided to surprise me and booked us a private two-bedroom pool villa back in Seminyak before we headed to Ubud. this was the epitome of vacation relaxation.

We had a wonderful staff member, Putu, who was on-call to make us breakfast, book our in-villa massages and handle whatever we needed. But we didn’t need much. After a quick run to the market for essential villa supplies (wine, cheese, salami, crackers & beer), we pretty much camped out and just enjoyed every single second. The totally private, but open concept, made our time so easy. Hot? Jump in the pool. Want some sun? Change to the lounge chairs. Hungry? Grab something from the fridge. No matter if you were inside or out, you were still in the action. Ah-mazing.

We both pouted when we left. It will not be our last pool villa. That’s for damn sure.
