when you think about it, traveling is one of the few things that somebody else can’t do for you. you have to put in the time and the miles on your ass. you can’t outsource or delegate the long bumpy bus rides, uncomfortable airport layovers, treks with 30 pound packs through small towns and smelly overnight train journeys. little by little, it’s all on you. we talked about this a bunch on our trip, so to see all these dots together really makes me smile. we did that. mile by mile.
