10+ hours in the air plus a hefty 5 hour layover.
but we made it.
a few great things about traveling in japan is that you don’t need to pay for a visa,
it’s really not that big, and there are tons of trains to get you quickly from point a to point b.
note: if you’re looking for a rail pass, you must apply in advance of your arrival.
