and no, we’re not typically soccer fans.
in fact, i couldn’t even tell you the basics of the sport,
and when it comes to the formulaic mess that’s the world cup ranking, forget it.
but that’s not the point, right?
to the couple of people who’ve posted snarky FB comments
about the “new” soccer fans – calm down.
every country needs more of what brings people together.
events just like the world cup that pump up peeps about their nation and
get strangers high-fiving and hugging at bars.
you should be proud that your sport is doing that right now.
the way i see it, the more positive energy for the usa today the better!
