just like last year (video + post), we spent labor day weekend in los angeles. one of our friends from college was getting married that sunday, which brought a few of us out west and was a nice excuse to spend some overdue time together.
we did some quintessential LA things: hiked runyon canyon, ate delicious food (here & here), stayed & played in west hollywood, spent a full day at our hotel’s rooftop european pool scene, brunched in venice and attended a black tie wedding at the four seasons regent beverly wilshire (more on that later).
the only time i really brought out the camera was on saturday when jared, d, me and the hauns (with baby bump!) met in venice for brunch at the tasting kitchen before heading to the water and taking in the sights and sounds of good ‘ol venice boardwalk.
the weather was warm for southern california standards, but felt great to us. it was all sunshiney vibes.
