our birthaversary getaway as a little film.

labor day weekend is always a big one around here. it’s the perfect long weekend to celebrate both our wedding anniversary (4 years!) and my birthday, regardless of how the actual dates fall. for this year’s extra nifty weekend (my 30th), we jetted off to santa monica, california for three days. we stayed at the viceroy santa monica (awesome!), cruised everywhere by bike or foot, soaked up the 8o’s temps both pool and beachside (the “heat wave” was the talk of the town – eye roll), and we had a fun celebratory night out with dear friends. it was an easy, yet insanely memorable weekend. like, pretty much perfection for both of us.
