the spontaneous nights are always the best.
and that’s what this was. while having beers at a bar in phnom penh, a guy walked in with a tucson singlet on which obviously caught our attention. so we struck up a conversation with todd & aimee and before we knew it the four of us had wristbands on, were standing on the back of a tuk tuk and off to do a cambodian pub crawl. oddly, cambodia’s capital phnom penh is known for it’s underground nightlife and it didn’t disappoint. after the first couple stops at typical bars, we found ourselves with bottle service and dancing up a storm at proper nightclubs with DJs spinning western beats.
a fantastic married couple, todd (australian) and aimee (british) are on their own asian adventure. they’ve packed up and are leaving australia for london and taking the slow route there — lots of asian travel in between. the four of us hit is off right away and if our routes were more closely aligned, we would have all loved to travel together for a bit. wishing you all the best in your next adventure, guys! xx
